The design centre offer a service to enhance your custom embroidery design by using stitch effects that will lift the appearance of a large area or draw attention to detail.

Using ApS-Ethos we can use stock effects or create new patterns and add them into the design creating areas of interest in what would have been flat stitching.

Stitch effects will add texture to designs and also create a unique pattern that will be difficult for others to recreate.

By clicking on the effects opposite browse the stitch effects pages and once you have chosen the stitch effect required note the effect name then quote that in any correspondence indicating which areas you wish this stitch effect to be used.

Baggy Stitch Effext

"Baggy" Stitch.

This effect is created using step stitch and vector lines. When creating the area we can incorporate shapes and text (size & complexity allowing) to give a "satin" stitch effect in step to give a unique pattern to your design.
Blended Stitches

Random Blending effect.

Floral designs can be lifted by blending the stitches creating a feathered effect . This is also perfect for Animals as it can produce a beautiful fur like appearance (see examples).
Vector Stitch Effect

Vector Effect.

Using Vector lines ( graphic tools in ApS-Ethos) we can give an impression of texture such as skin, scales, landscape and a great many more.
Curve fill effect

Curve Fill

Curve fill can create an effect such as waves or geometric patterns to again make a large area more interesting and possibly cheaper.
